Here's what we mean when we say that PACK EXPO and PROCESS EXPO are the five most important days on our industry's calendar.

The PROCESS EXPO 2006 will be the largest and most exciting show we have produced since we began our co-location with PACK EXPO in 1997. Thousands of visitors from throughout the United States and all corners of the world will experience a breadth of exhibits, seminars, and networking opportunities without equal in our industry. Here's why you need to be here:

Exhibits. Over 350 exhibitors showing the latest technology in food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing equipment, supplies, ingredients, and services, covering the entire manufacturing asset in a way that is unmatched by any other show you might attend this year. From receiving, blending and product development all the way through to shipping of your final product, you'll find a wide array of solutions for any of your processing needs on the exhibit floor of PROCESS EXPO.

Pavilions. Be sure to visit our two special industry pavilions on the show floor. Suppliers to the Confectionery Industry will occupy a pavilion on the upper level of the Lakeside Center while Food Safety and Sanitation exhibits will take center stage on the lobby level of Lakeside. The pavilions will enable attendees to make the most efficient use of their time, and focus in on the many different solutions providers from these two areas in a dedicated section, versus having to search them out on the show floor.

Seminars. PROCESS EXPO 2006 will feature an expanded seminar program to provide you with the information that you need to be more successful in your business today. These seminars include:

  • State of the Industry reports from AIB International and the Food Products Association (FPA)
  • The Mintel Market Intelligence Seminar Area which will feature speakers on food industry market trends, research studies, and guest lecturers.
  • The Conference at PACK EXPO offers a comprehensive schedule of packaging industry seminars on various topics.

Pricing for these sessions varies - registration is available through our on-line registration system. For a full detail of conference sessions, visit the CONFERENCE page.

Tasting Center. Don't miss a trip to the Tasting Center! Suppliers of ingredients and flavors will offer free food and beverage samples made using their products in the new Tasting Center, located on the lobby level exhibit floor of the Lakeside Center.

Special Events. The National Confectioners Association and Manufacturing Confectioner magazine will co-host a reception at McCormick Place at the conclusion of show hours on Tuesday, October 31.

FPSA will host members of CANAINCA, the Mexican Food Processors Association, at a luncheon also on Tuesday, October 31.

And, on Monday evening, October 30, PMMI and FPSA will honor international delegates and exhibitors with the International Reception in the International Ballroom in the Hilton & Towers hotel.

Internet Lounge. Special thanks to Packaging Technologies, Inc. for their sponsorship of the Internet Lounge, where visitors can stay connected with their home office while making the most of PROCESS EXPO. In the Lounge, attendees will be able to check and send e-mail, locate exhibits, and network with their suppliers and colleagues. This new and exciting offering is located on the lobby level of Lakeside in booth 8336.

We look forward to seeing you this October in Chicago. You can see it all, the latest in food technology across the entire spectrum of the supply chain, for just $25 advance registration or $50 on site.
