Membership Does Have Its Privileges
For the majority of FPSA members, the benefits derived from exhibiting at PROCESS EXPO are sufficient justification for maintaining their membership in the Association. Members do have significant advantages over non-member companies exhibiting at PROCESS EXPO: their per square foot rate is significantly lower; they earn priority points for years of membership and exhibiting; and, they secure their space in the “members only” round allowing for selection of space in premium locations. For most FPSA member companies, the discount on the space they buy at PROCESS EXPO exceeds their annual dues. Yes, membership does have its privileges.

Shortly, all FPSA members will receive their current priority points. The priority points establish the order for the selection process. Members will receive their “time window” when staff will call to assist in the selection of exhibit space for the 2007 PROCESS EXPO, October 15-17, 2007 at Las Vegas Convention Center. The floor plan is on-line, so you know where you will be and who will be in your vicinity. We anticipate beginning the “members only” round in early June.

You will be receiving a prospectus featuring the key benefits of PROCESS EXPO, but let us use this opportunity to focus on some distinguishing characteristics of your PROCESS EXPO.

Yes, it is your PROCESS EXPO…supplier owned and supplier run. That fact alone distinguishes PROCESS EXPO from many competitive shows in our industry. It means that your customer will receive the best trade show experience at the lowest cost to you, the exhibitor. Your ownership of PROCESS EXPO means that we use a significantly higher portion of our revenue for promoting the show to your customers via advertising, direct mail, electronic advertising, and one-to-one marketing at various customer venues.

There is no other show that builds in the cost of drayage, unlimited drayage, into the cost of the exhibit space and still is the lowest cost per square foot of any national trade show in our industry. There are many member privileges at PROCESS EXPO. We will highlight them in the prospectus you will receive.

If PROCESS EXPO ’07, with our co-located partner PACK EXPO, will be your first time exhibiting with us, you are in for a great experience. It’s about numbers of customers, quality contacts, energy, and excitement. In the 2005 events in Las Vegas, we had a total attendance of 33,154; from that number there were 21,907 buyers. It’s three great days of face-to-face marketing. And, importantly, it’s about your bottom line. We are confident that PROCESS EXPO ’07 will deliver the best return on investment of any trade show in our industry. The following illustration supports our contention:

We remind you that selection of space between June and November will be for members only. So, if you haven’t done so already, maintain your active membership status. Because we have limited space for PROCESS EXPO ’07, we anticipate that the members only round will approach a sell-out of the space. Don’t get left out.
